I was planning on applying to both schools as a business major (Management Information Systems) and Computer Science as a alternate. I was wondering which school is better regarding the Business program, and overall student campus life. I plan on living in a dorm and want to experience the full four years of college. What are some things to do in Fullerton or Long Beach outside of campus?

Well, Long Beach is in/near Long Beach and near the ocean… Fullerton is near the mountains. That should tell you about student life.

As for Academics…

CSU Fullerton:

The 2009 edition of Princeton Review’s “Best 296 Business Schools” publication highlighted the school’s Mihaylo College of Business and Economics.

The Mihaylo College of Business and Economics is the largest accredited business school in the state of California and the fifth-largest in the United States.

The College of Business and Economics is one of five undergraduate business schools in California with an accreditation in accounting.

CSU Long Beach:

It just says very well respected.

The choice is yours.

Thank you for the response!

Right now my top choices are San Jose, Fullerton, and Long Beach. I did not realize how accredited the Business school in Fullerton was. Hopefully all schools provide a great living experience.

Fullerton is by the mountains dude you are so off. Fullerton is in Orange County and is very close to Disneyland and relatively close to the beach. I go to fullerton so I can say it is a great school for business. Long beach is a well known csu but business is one of fullerton’s strongest majors. As far as the campus goes it’s pretty large I heard something like 45 000 students but my largest class has been 250. Something to consider would be the limited parking for the students.
good luck
