Cal State Fullerton or Long beach?

21 year old (stated school late)

Business (Management) Information system major

Will live on campus or apartment

Likes diversity, school spirit, or anything UCLA/CAL/UCSB has.

Which school will fit my needs better?

edit: I'm leaning towards CSUF because of the freshly built Mihaylo school of business. Being in Orange County with more job opportunity doesnt hurt either. Any input will be greatly appreciated thanks!

i’ve always heard that fullerton had strong business so you can’t go wrong with them
i’ve just also heard that csulb just generally has more school spirit than csuf? maybe i’m wrong.
either way you can’t go wrong with either.

yeah I really like both school. LB has a bigger campus with more people but Fullerton has Milhaylo. Since I will being living in the area (from norcal), food is very important. So the more food joint each area has the better I can decide.

The Beach has more spirit.

Both have good undergrad biz programs. Not much to walk to nearby CSUF, so you’ll need a car. Check their websites to see which campus has more students who live “on campus.” In general, the Cal States are primarily commuter schools – and clear out at night and on weekends, but Fullerton just recently built a couple of dorms.

^^^

CSUF has a pretty strong Greek system so if interested, that can provide a night and weekend social life.

CSULB might also have a strong Greek system; I don’t know.

Since both CSUF and CSULB are top Cal States, they have become top picks for many kids who are from out of the area…which suggests less commuter-like than others.

Both are fine schools; pick your fav.
