Better to complete foreign languages until the last year or replace with AP class?

Should I continue through my foreign language sequence until my Senior year or should I replace it with an AP class?

If I know that some classes in my school
are hard, should I take it over the summer at a CC instead?

Anyone? Thanks.

It depends on how you feel about your foreign language, what AP classes are offered, how you feel about those, and what other classes you're taking next year.

I did AP jr. year and then took a college class this fall, after school. The answer to your question is dependent on a lot of factors, though. There's really not enough information for me to say anything.

which language are you studying? What AP class would you take instead?

Just keep in mind that it becomes really hard to take a placement test to get into the right language level after skipping it for a year... you forget a lot in that year.

Personally, I took the language, but I LOVE language, so that makes sense for me. If you don't think you're going to be required to take it in college and you don't enjoy it now, maybe taking another AP class would be better.

I really hated spanish in school, but I enjoy self studying other languages. Maybe you can self study for the AP, and get credit too.

Personally, I'm dropping Spanish 4 and taking two sciences.
