BFA in painting but want to go to grad school for Poli Sci

Is this possible? I JUST graduated with my BFA in painting and never thought twice about doing anything else when I was in school. I love art and I know I could get into a good grad program with this, but I'm also extremely passionate about politics and would love to be involved in that field as well. Basically I'm torn. Is it possible (realistically) to get a double graduate degree (and of all things in art and poli sci)? I can't bring myself to completely abandon art, but I also can't ignore my growing enthusiasm for politics.

any suggestions, advice, etc?

I think you would have to do separate graduate degrees in each of those fields. To get admitted to a grad program in political science, it would be easier to apply to a master’s program, and it would help, if you had taken some basic courses as an undergrad in either political science and/or another social science (e.g., economics) and if you had a statistics course. You’d also have to submit a good statement of interest and have some good rec letters to make your case. You also might consider a master’s in public policy, which is a professional program and might not expect as much academic political science background as an undergrad. Now if you wanted to study cultural policy or arts administration…
