Does Anyone Know How Long After Your Bgo Interview You Should Expect To See "interview Submitted" On The Application Website?

Mine was up within a week. I'm pretty sure your BGO has to write, what amounts to, a letter of recommendation, which could possibly take a while to complete. I would give it two weeks or so, post-interview before I would call the BGO about it. Although some BGO's may be slower than others.

Some BGO's enter it right away. Others, if they have a lot of candidates to interview, may wait until all of them are done. BGO's have to give an assessment of candidates (top 5%, top 20%, etc.), and they may want to rank-order them before entering the interview in the system.

My son's interview was posted on the USNA Website the next day

Rank order? So BGO's rank all of their kids? I did not know that... Haha I'm glad mine really likes me.

There is no requirement to rank. Some may do it but I would guess that most don't because you don't want to delaying entering someone's interview until you finish all of your interviews. Obviously, if you only have a couple of candidates and/or manage to get all of your interviews done quickly and close together in time, ranking might work.

Also, you can always go back and submit another interview. Thus, if at the end of the process, you realize that your first student was the best, you could "add" that to the system. Personally, I think it's just as easy to include a comment such as, "Jane is the best candidate I've interviewed in the past three years" or "compared to all of the candidates I've interviewed in the past three years, I would place Joe in about the middle."
