I was recently admitted into BHP, but I also applied to (and am very interested in) the Natural Science Dean's Scholars Program. I know that it's possible to do both Plan II and BHP, but I haven't yet heard of anyone who is doing Nat Sci. Honors and BHP. Does anyone know if this is possible?

Also, does anyone know when Nat. Sci Honors results will be out for priority deadline applicants?

It is definitely possible, but I only know of a couple students who stuck with both programs the entire way through. It is much more common to see the Plan II + (other honors program) combination than any other.

A combination of things. In general, there’s not much overlap between natural sciences and business. That’s true both in terms of curriculum and careers (the notable exception to that is computer science). On the curriculum side, there’s trouble because there aren’t as many overlapping requirements between the two programs. That means you have a heavier course load to meet both majors’ needs. Similarly on the career side, it’s uncommon to pair basic science research and business (as opposed to engineering for example).

Also in terms of personality, the two schools tend to attract different types of students.

Certainly, none of these are reasons to avoid the combination, but they are things that tend to make it less popular. I’d recommend you go for it. No harm in dropping one of the programs for the traditional major if that’s what you end up liking.
