BHP Notification

I got in! No phone call though, and no scholarship! So I think it was just you and maybe a few other select people. congrats :)

@soccermonkey: I don’t think there is a set date for a second wave. I think that once acceptances start rolling out, they will keep going until they are finished.

no scholarships yet, but I’m hoping for the 40 acres or Texas Exes scholarship. I’m really excited to meet all of you who are going to do the program! Even though I’m applying to Yale, Stanford, Princeton etc. I’ve already decided that I’m going to UT for sure. The cost comparison just isn’t a comparison, and the program just seems to give just as many opportunities as going to an ivy.

I got letter yesterday.

I am interested in BHP + Engineering program. Is there any way for me to
combine the two?

I also got into PLAN II, but thinking of engineering combo!

Regards

tspa

Yes, you can do both, although I believe it puts you on a 5 year plan.

Has ony one had a phone interview or received the big envelope for BHP?

I believe so–many folks in this thread I think.

i had my phone interview yesterday. How many people get phone interviews? Also, what are the chances once you do get one?

Everyone that is admitted will receive a phone interview first, but not all applicants receive phone interviews. There are no official statistics on how many get it out of the number of applicants - it is based on a holistic evaluation of the applicant.

Please be patient. Depending on many factors including when you applied, your potential interviewer, your file status, you may hear later. This does not mean your chances are any lower, but just that you will have to wait a little longer!

Hope that helps.
