i know it isn’t time yet but for those who have been rejected and accepted what size was the letter when you got it through snail mail. regular small size for rejected? large for accepted?

I don’t even think there was an envelope. I may be wrong, but I think it was all online. Anyhow, it definitely wasn’t a big envelope.

The acceptance letter that I received was a single sheet of paper (letter size, tri-fold) in a standard sized letter envelope. On the other hand, rejection letters also come in the same size, since I have seen both. Cal Poly does not send out the big envelope thing like the UCs.

so even when you get the letter you STILL don’t know what it says…UCs you can just tell even before you open it. that kinda sucks

I actually saw the congratulatory message on the student centre website before I received the letter, so I knew what I was expecting. It’s just that both admission offered and rejection letters are printed and mailed on the same kind of paper and envelope. The UC admissions packages are way too overrated a waste of money. I remember last year’s admission package from Berkeley included a sticker of some sort, a button-pin that said “Cal Admitted” or something like that, a banner, and other unnecessary crap.

No envelope. I found out online a month before I got it in the mail. So start checking in Feb
