<p>What top schools recalculate your GPA in special ways (like ecluding certain years, or excluding certain classes)</p>
<p>is there any way i can figure out how certain colleges would recalculate my GPA</p>
<p>Maybe this seems like a wild idea, but you could go to their sites and check for yourself.</p>
<p>I know Michigan-Ann Arbor drops freshman year and weights all classes on a standard unweighted scale (A:4, A-:3.7, B+:3.4 and so on)</p>
<p>University of California system</p>
<p>UMich only considers academic classes (English, math, sciences, etc.)</p>
<p>Their unweighted scale (for UMich) is A's (plus and minus) are a 4.0, B's (plus and minus) are a 3.0, etc.</p>
