big merit scholarships for transfers?

<p>Anyone know of any schools that offer big merit scholarships for transfers (including scholarships that apply to both first year students and transfers) at top tier schools?</p>

<p>I was stupid and applied to schools I totally can't afford this year. I got in but can't afford to go and am thinking of going to one of my safeties and transferring next year. I have good stats, so I’m thinking I may try my luck at a significant merit scholarship.</p>

<p>I don’t know how “big” they are, but there are some schools in this thread that offer merit to transfers. In general, there are many more merit awards for entering fr than transfers.</p>
