Does anyone know if the letter from GW is in a small envelope or a big folder type envelope?

Also, I believe that they sent the letters out today meaning that Maryland should hear tomorrow and Virginia Thursday. Good Luck

Last year....very large envelope with a blue and gold engraved folder inside containing acceptance letter and admissions information. Arrived here in MA on 3/31. Good luck!

Someone said in another thread that it was big. Big and "juicy" if my memory serves me correct.

How do you know the letters were sent out today? Did you call them?

I applied ED1 and it is a large folder, very classy, but hey its GW

Good Luck and I hope to see some of you in the fall!

they said they were mailing them out on the 28th.

They try to mail them out so everyone can get them on or before April 1st, so that sounds about right.

if you live in CA, sit tight. mine came 10 days after it was mailed (but that was during holiday season)

I was told that the letters would be mailed out on the 28th every other D.C. school I applied to came to Virginia two days later. AHHHHHHHHHHH that means tomorrow. Good luck

why does it take so long to get in the mail? if they mailed it friday, wouldn't a letter be received by monday in NY? NY isn't that far away from D.C. I would think max 2 days but I have gotten nothign in the mail yet.

University and DC mail is a bit iffy, but mostly GW package services, which can be VERY slow.....

although they were mailed on friday, the arrival date is highly dependent upon where you are located (also, always consider the chance that some of the packets may not have made it out until monday for whatever reason).
