Big Score Report Mistake?

A couple of questions about self-reporting vs. official reports:

  1. I’m applying to some schools that require all scores and some that allow Score Choice. I self reported only my highest scores on the Common App, but sent official score reports of all scores to all schools that required all scores. Did I break any rules? I’m worried that I’ll get automatically denied due to this discrepancy, I’m really unclear on the relationship between self reporting and official reports.

  2. I took the same SAT II twice and got the same score twice. I self reported only the latter test date, but accidentally sent only the first test date through CollegeBoard (to a Score Choice school). Basically, I self reported one date and sent the other. Again, did I break any rules?

  1. If the score you reported matches the one on the official score report, you should be fine. The score report lists all of your scores including the highest one and most colleges only consider the highest scores

  2. I am pretty sure that college admission officers take in consideration human error and won’t deny you because of a date mistake

The one SAT I score I self reported matches with the official report, but I didn’t self report the other score that’s going to show up on the official report. This isn’t a problem?

No. As long as you abided by the college’s direction on which scores to send, you’re fine. If a college asks for a score report, it will refer to the score report to validate your scores. Reporting any scores on the Common App is optional anyway.
