One thing I noticed today, which may be useful in the big vs small school debate:
I've attended both a small college and a large university (currently attending the latter) and I went to a party and met a bunch of people there, and realized I'm probably not going to see most of them again. This is because in a large university, you rarely run into people you know. If you meet someone once you never see them again unless you make plans with them. I remember when I was at a small college, however, I would go to a party, and meet a bunch of people and see them almost every day after that just around campus. So we would really keep in touch and get to know eachother.

I guess thats a disadvantage of a larger university. You never see someone after meeting them so you cant really get to know people.
