should i just buy the sixth edition rather than spend a lot more on the seventh edition? they are virtually the same? or not?
also for physics 1 series. does it have to be the ucsd version or can i order like a previous version for that too?

bumperz ....

Same thing I did for my math book, I doubt it's a big deal.

I haven't seen the 6th edition, but they should be very similar. Typically, newer editions don't have that much of a drastic change. Same goes for the physics book. HOWEVER, I'm not sure if the problems you'll be assigned correlates with older editions. You should check up on that.

bild1: older version is fine, but my bild3 professor did warn that we may have to consult the newer edition for new material. i bought the 7th edition, so i didn't run into this problem.

phys: you can buy the 7th (?) edition from amazon, half, etc. ucsd custom bound just means that they took out some chapters to make it cheaper, but if you look online and bargain-hunt, the full 7th edition (the one with a swimmerr on the cover) is still cheaper.

could somebody post the ISBN for the bild 1 book?

080537146X

anyone selling a bild1 book for less than 90 bucks?

thanks (10char)
