bild3 waitlist?

How likely is it to get into bild3 if I'm 16 on the waitlist (class of 300) by the time class starts (in a week)? I'm registered for the 11:00-12:20pm lecture, but because of work, I need the 8:00-9:20am lecture. The professor uses clicker for attendance, so I can't simply just go to the 8oclock lecture and skip the lecture section I'm signed up for.

Should I go ahead and waitlist the 8oclock class? Or stay in the 11 oclock and just forget about clicker points?

Also... if I do waitlist and don't get in until the waitlist deadline, how would the clicker points and section sign up work?

Thank you very much :)

you'll get in if it's 16. typically, the 10% rule applies (10% of a class will drop)

i got into bild3, being some #80 on the waitlist in a class of 300. hehehe.

why not figure out if the clicker points are part of your grade or if it's extra credit first? orrrrr you can always ask a good friend in that class to click in for you. :P

if its henter you need those points, me sleeping through some 8am classes def killed my grade, plus it was like all the classes i did go to were 1 point days and the ones i missed were 2..blehh

but yea, waitlist man

^ Yeah, it's Henter.
Can you explain how the clicker works? is it based on whether you answered the questions correctly? Or simply the fact that you were there and you clicked in?

And sections? Any TA recommendation?

Thanks!

yea no prob lol. Henter's clicker points are just based on if you clicked in, not if its correct..and theyre key for her tests too, at least for our quarter all the multipul choice were clicker problems, so make sure you write down the correct answer. and I had Michael Conte, he wasnt the best but he wasnt horrible either...most ta's for the class dont do much, but he made review tests for the midterm/final that were nice to check yourself with so I did like him..also, I think having section on a monday was a complete disadvantage, because everyone asks what was on the quizzes and people tell their friends and they later sections of the week get higher scores, pfft lame. Henter doesnt normalize the sections at all either, so its waaay better if you are in a section later in the week, I wish I had known that there was abs no advantage to having section earlier in the week.
