I'm an incoming freshman... my bill is asking me to pay full out-of-state tuition.... and I have a substantial scholarship from the engineering school (26k/year), and it has NOT been factored into my bill at all... what the **** is going on?

is the 26k in "pending financial aid"?
if not then CALL them up ASAP.

btw
just wondering what is the amount on your bill right now

Go on Wolverine Access, go to to campus finances, click on account inquiry. When you get to your account, click on the invoice number, that takes you to the invoice. It should show the credit of your merit scholarship and the amount due should be net of the scholarship, my daughter's is. If yours does not then I would call the school and inquire, perhaps there was an accounting error.

wow first your football ticket isn't coming and now your bill is messed up... must be a stressful week before you move in...

^^ Exactly what I was gonna say - either that or you're a chronic paranoid..

Haha I'm not a chronic paranoid, I'm actually really chill. Yeah my tickets still haven't come in but I called the FA office and they said they have record of the financial aid stuff, but it just isn't showing on the bill... until next Tuesday. Weird.

Good news, finally! Yay.

Same thing has happened to me for 4 years now. But my scholarships aren't that much, so it wasn't really a problem to have that extra money sitting in my account waiting to be applied to the next semester. This semester my mom said she just paid cost of tuition minus the scholarship.

As for the football tickets, I'd call the ticket office and see if you can get them to verify that the tickets did get mailed. There's a chance that for whatever reason the tickets didn't get mailed and will be waiting for you at will call when you get to campus.
