Thanks for the link, is the figure from 2003-2004 ($6.00 a unit) up to date or has it increased or decreased since then.

pretty sure its the same. i think engineering or some classes like that are slightly higher.

$6.00 per unit? Has that changed since '03-'04? These guys are trying to squeeze every possible penny from us. $6 per unit x average of 4.5 units per course = $27 per course x 4 courses = $108 per quarter x 3 quarters = $324 per year. That's quite a sum.

I thought you are charged a fixed amount if you are a full time student?

Yep, it ends up being around $100/quarter depending on how many units you take. It's fairly obscene.

And you are, as far as normal fees go. These are extra and were added on to help with "technology" and other such costs.

How many more "fees" will be added throughout the years?

Just the IEI fees. They're posted after the 4th week of each quarter.

allie: the winter & spring qtrs fees will not be the same as the fall qtr and that they can be higher?
By the way, the winter fees are due on Dec. 20 and Finaid is scheduled for 1/3/07. How does that work? Are we supposed to pay in advance or the Student Accounting will give some allowance for us who are on finaid?

I really don't know how the finaid works bc i don't go through finaid.

And no, the fees each quarter depend explicitly on how many units you're taking. Im gearing up to pay more this quarter because its the most units ive ever taken.

for winter, you just have to be sure to pay the amount that BAR says you can pay with your credit card, if there is any. if there isn't, then there isn't anything you can do but wait for finaid and you won't be charged late fees if finaid is released late.
