first let me say I am 99% sure there is no rejections. You are either accepted or deferred

@jpet96 - I am not surprised you were deferred. Not because you dont deserve it because your stats should eventually get you in.

what I saw last year and I think I see it this year is that they take out of state MUCH easier than in state. I have seen people with ridiculous averages and SAT scores get deferred and the only think I take out of it was they were in state. There was someone on this thread (I think) that had a 3.08 average and not a great SAT and they got in (they were out of state).

@jpet96 I think you should get in with RD (but never a sure thing) with those statistics.

ugh status checker not working, I got an email saying I’m accepted but I applied to Decker and it doesn’t specify whether or not I was accepted to the nursing program. I tried calling but they said they can’t disclose that information over the phone. On the “unofficial” acceptance thing it says I can pay my deposit and that my major is nursing so I don’t know if that means I’m in or not. Any thoughts?

Deferred. SAT 2180. SAT II 750 History, 720 Math I. 5 APs. 3.8 GPA. Four year Varsity athlete, two year team captain. STEM internship. Co-Head Orchestra. NYS resident.

@iiixjanice
I got my email on the 13th and letter in the mail today. The letter said that financial aid info will be emailed in March if you file a FAFSA.

Congrats on getting accepted! Maybe we’ll be classmates next fall.

D just got her acceptance letter. No email. We were very surprised since she applied RD and thought we would have to wait. Watson School of Engineering. We are out of state too.
