Binghamton Scholars Program

Does anyone know when we can expect to find out if we've been "invited" or not? I'm guessing mid- to late-March, but can those of you non-freshmen who have been accepted to it before shed some insight as to when you received your notification? Thanks. =)

I got my acceptance letter today, and it told me I was accepted into the PricewaterhouseCoopers Scholar Program. It's for the School of Management. Didn't mention anything other scholars program though, so I assume it's just a specific part of that program.

Anyone familiar with the PricewaterhouseCoopers Scholar Program?

I read a little bit about it on the website:

<a href="http://www.binghamton.edu/som/curstudents/undergrad/honor.html%5B/url%5D">http://www.binghamton.edu/som/curstudents/undergrad/honor.html</a></p>

That link provides a good summary. It doesn't seem like there's any scholarship related to it, but you might have an upper-hand when it comes to getting an internship/job at PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

I hope someone who went through the program would post since their site is still somewhat vague.

By the way, how did you find out? Snail Mail?

Well, I'm in Harpur, so I'm going to assume it's something else for each part of Binghamton. =/

Yea, snail mail all the way. I live in NY, so that would explain why I found out so soon.

A scholarship would really sweeten the pot though.

Any news on scholars program for Harpur applicants?

They sent out emails today.

My son got an email today congratulating him on being accepted into the Binghamton Scholars program. He was accepted to Harper EA quite a while ago and this came as a complete surprise. We really don't know much about it--he didn't apply for it or anything like that.

Yeah, you can't apply for it - they just invite you. :/
