As I posted previously, my got into SOM last Friday, but he has many friends who still have not heard
although, that number has dwindled over the past few days as more decisions have been released. Good Luck!

Got deferred to Regular Decision by Binghamton last night
 I have two friends that applied to Binghamton and both got the same response. I wonder if they are sending these out just to get applications “done”

Sorry you didn’t get the news you were hoping for and you still have to wait for the decision. That really sucks, but it wasn’t a no and she’s still in the game. Best of luck!

After not being accepted into SOM, they emailed me last night saying they can’t take me into SOM but that I should switch to Harper because I am a strong applicant last night. But, I just got into harper today!

Hey. Wanted to let you know that the day after I DECLINED the offer to switch from SOM to Harpur, I got an email saying they will review my application again with the regular applicant pool. So I’m deferred and still in the race for SOM. Time will tell.

Did everyone who got deferred get 2 emails? My daughter got another one from her admissions counselor last night that said please keep Bing on the top of her list and that they want to assure her they are very interested in her application and are looking forward to reviewing it with the RD pool. It said they had such a high volume of applications and need more time to review etc. It also stated she doesn’t need to send them anything else as far as grades etc. Just curious if this is something everyone got? Thanks!
