Same here, from Long Island. Our previous admissions person’s name started with a K. Wondering if we all had the same one? She was the one that sent the email stating they needed more time to go through all the applications they received.
Same, prior person began with a K. Perhaps they needed to add another person to wade through the applications from our region.

Interesting. The 2 friends of my daughters from Long Island that were accepted had a different admissions person (not the K). Maybe this is a good thing?!

For everyone who’s been deferred- do we need to write an email stating continued interest? In the email we got it sounded like they didn’t even get around to reviewing our applications yet.

Our admissions person also began with K, we met her on our tour of Bing and she actually told us at that time that someone else would be taking over for her. Haven’t checked to see if it has changed yet for my son

I got an email about a Scholarship Notification. I received the presidential scholarship for $12k a year.
I applied for regular decision.

Has anyone on Long Island, who applied regular decision, heard anything yet? Just wondering if they are even doing rolling decisions at this point, or if everyone left is likely to hear sometime in March.

on the 8th got denied from SOM but was given an opportunity to change to Harpur
got into Harpur on the 9th
