Binghamton University Pre-Med Student

I've been accepted to Binghamton and will be attending this fall. I have orientation tomorrow and I've been fussing over which classes I should be ready to register for. My goal is to attend medical school and to finish these four years with a relatively high Science GPA. My question is: which courses do pre-med students normally sign up for in this first semester of freshman year? I'm assuming it is Bio, Chem, maybe Calc and an elective? But since Chem and Biology are both only offered Monday, Wednesday, Friday, will this be a difficult schedule to keep up with? I've heard how the Binghamton Into Biology course applies more critical thinking and using the concepts you've learned to logically answer questions, instead of the usual memorization test. This scares me a bit and I'm wondering will taking Bio and Chem at the same time be really difficult or is this the normal first semester schedule? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much~

I also got accepted for January and was wondering the same thing. How was orientation and what classes do you have for your first semester so I have an idea…
Good luck
