Bssed on the scholarship money at GW, for an OOS iot comes down to basically the same tuition between the 3.
Please help me decide. I am pretty confussed beacuse of the difference in location of the 3 schools.
UGA and Bing did not give me scholarship money.
thanks

I think Binghamton has more of a reputation over UGA.
Older people consider UGA a party school which I think is based in ther experience in those days.
GW has a terrific reputation in the North, but few people know about it in the South. they confuse it with Georgetown.
If you like city life I guess GW. Bing is rural and UGA a small college town.
Anybody out there can help this guy?
Good luck

Bing is rural

binghmaton is not rural. the campus is located in vestal which is a suburb of the city of binghamton. binghamton is a much small city than nyc and dc, but it is a city. very different than gw in dc -- but to describe it as rural is simply not accurate.

Now that tatiana mentioned the reputation, what's your thoughts when comparing?
where do I get the most of my money as an OOS. Unfortunately I am forced to think strongly about finances

you are comparing cost of tuition. i would suggest you look into the cost of room and board - both on AND off campus -- i think a significant number of students at both binghamton and gw end up living off campus (check if on campus housing is guaranteed for 4 years) -- my guess is that the cost of doing so in binghamton would be less -- but definitely look into this so you aren't in for a rude surprise in a couple of years.

students at gw are likely to be much more politically aware than those at binghamton -- for many being in dc is a big part of the draw of gw.

I see... I am not sure of my major yet, but I am certainly torn especially between Bing and GW sice I know I can get a great education in both.
They are certainly different campuses, but the students are so smart in both, I'm kind of overwhelmed that I could have been chosen in those schools. Having said that, i like getting involved in community issues, and that's where the dilemma comes. Is GW by being in DC a better fit? Is Bing offering a great Social Sciences program? Are kids happy there?
If my parents are investing quite an amount of money in my education, I don't want them to waste it, is my job to do well. Besides, I like school-like sports and having fun too.
Thank you again

One thing to consider is that Bing has 90% instate students vs GW 99% OOS which I think would make the campus life experience very different. It seems to me GW would be a more well rounded experience.

I am leaning towards GW based on the multicultural aspect of the school. I love Bing as well, I'm just torn, because i got great money break at GW and evens with Bing in the cost. My parents say it's up to me, I wish they'd decide..(lol)
PLease tell me something negative of both schools, so I can make up my mind
