BIO 101 or CHEM 101

For someone who doesn’t a strong background in either, which one will be easier to understand?
(BTW: I plan to self study from May on to be better prepared)
Thanks!

Also I’m in SEAS (majoring in CS), so could I take Chem 001 or any alternative for Bio which may be easier?

I don’t know which one will be easier to understand for you, but I would think that Physics would be more useful for a CS major than either Biology or Chemistry.

Chemistry courses, including the intro sequence, are notoriously difficult at Penn. I can’t speak as to what would be easiest for you.

I didn’t find BIOL101 or BIOL102 particularly challenging. 101 focuses on microscopic biological principles whereas 102 is based around evolution. I preferred 101 simply because the content was more interesting for me.
