Bio 1A lecture mandatory?

Hi everyone!

I was wondering if anyone knows if Bio 1A lecture is mandatory this semester because of the iClicker system set up. I currently have another class at the same time and was planning on relying on webcasts to keep up and just coming to midterms, but now I'm not sure how the iClicker points work.

If anyone can help, it'd be greatly appreciated! :)

I don’t understand why people put two classes at the same time. It doesn’t matter if bio1a is webcast…I believe that classes that are at the same time will have the same finals schedule. What if they also have midterms on the same day?

Not trying to be rude or anything, lol…but yeah, you might want to take that into consideration.

lol that’s a scary risk to take

Nah, I checked midterms and finals schedules and planned it out, I’ll just be losing 13 i-Clicker points for Urnov’s section but otherwise lecture isn’t mandatory (for those of you out there who were wondering!).

Thanks for the input anyway you guys!

Bio 1A lecture isn’t mandatory. A lot of ppl I’ve heard in the past have done well in the class skipping most lectures and watching web casts instead. The 13 iClicker pts might be kinda important tho…then again there’s a total of 39 extra points(like extra credit).

for bio 1a? schwaaat when did that happen

If you can make yourself actually keep up with the webcasts, go for it. (beast!)
