Bio 1A Textbook

So, from my understanding, Bio 1A always uses the Campbell Biology textbook (which I own) but this semester, the bookstore is listing a 2e Russell textbook (assuming Biology - The Dynamic Science with a zebra cover).

Being slightly annoyed at the book change, I was wondering if anyone could comment on the necessity of a textbook for 1A...

Considering that I've already taken basically the same class elsewhere (with the Campbell book) and that I took amazing notes, is it really necessary to buy this? I also already completed 1AL and 1B if that changes anything.

Oh and I most likely will be missing a fair amount of ACTUAL class because I suck at waking up early.

No one can comment on needing a textbook for 1A?

T_T

never touched it.

i’m just curious- they allowed you to take 1al without taking 1a?

Thanks. I took 1AL somewhere else and essentially petitioned out of it (very difficult and time consuming to do so).
