Bio E or M?

Please excuse my coming paranoia. I tend to get nervous over these things.

Should I take the Bio E or M version? More specifically, which is better? I am a little better at E than M, but I am confident that I can do well on either one. Do colleges actually care whether you took the E or M? For instance, say kid 1 gets a 780 on the M and kid 2 gets an 800 on the E. Both are applying for the same school to study molecular bio and have otherwise identical credentials. Which one would get selected? I know everyone will say that it doesn't matter, that kid 2 has better chances, but how does anyone know that? In other words, are colleges biased towards one version of the test?

E is mostly common knowledge if you have taken Environmental Science.

There’s no difference between a 780 on the M and an 800 on the E. They both tell the college the same good things about you. Do which ever one you have greater comfort with the material.

I’m taking M because I feel it’s more conceptual rather than E (which I was never amazing at) which is based on memorization more.

Thanks for replying, everyone. These responses don’t answer my question though, which was “Are colleges biased towards M over E?”

This seems like it answers your question–no, colleges aren’t biased.
