I want to take BSC 2010, 2010L (Integrated Principles of Biology I) and CHM 2047, 2047L (One Semester General Chemistry, honors course) both in my fall semester. Does anyone know if these will likely create a schedule conflict? I heard from a friend that I might not be able to take Biology and Chemistry at the same time.

I have a few friends taking bio and chem at the same time. However, CHM 2047 seems to be filled on ISIS. I also planned to take it and I have my Preview on Wednesday, so hopefully a few spots will open up for us :/

I absolutely need CHM 2047, lol. I’d be in big trouble if it’s filled. Maybe it’s just saying filled because they’re holding spots for preview kids. By the way, what are we supposed to take after CHM 2047? It needs to be organic chem for me, but do they offer classes like organic chem 1 in the spring? The one semester aspect of CHM 2047 is great, but it throws off the typical, 1st level in fall, 2nd level in spring pattern.

There should be multiple sections of bio available, but for the CHM 2047, hopefully you are in honors and put that class as the number 1 priority because if not, i believe it’s quite challenging getting a seat otherwise.

They do offer orgo 1 in the spring, and they even have a one-semester organic chemistry class if you want to do that. (or you could take analytical…or p. chem if you have the physics background).

BSC2010 is offered at three different times of the day, so it shouldn’t be a problem.
