Bio Major SUCKS at Chemistry

<p>Hey everyone,</p>

<p>So I am at Stony Brook University and I'm a Biology major but the problem is that I am currently taking my General Chemistry and struggling beyond belief. I have never felt more lost or confused in a subject. </p>

<p>When it comes to Biology, everything clicks easily and I look forward to learning it. But chemistry has gotten to the point that I just want to drop out of my science major and never look at it again. I am pre-med also, so I know I can't avoid chemistry at all.</p>

<p>Am I absolutely doomed as a pre-med student/bio major?</p>

<p>See a tutor. If things don’t improve, I would say look into majoring in something else.</p>

<p>There are other sciences out there.</p>

<p>Don’t give up, get help. Organic Chemistry is not at all like General Chemistry, and for someone like you, chemistry will be easier next year, not harder.</p>
