They are both basically the same besides the last 2 semesters classes at the school i want to get into (NCSU) and are both quite rigorous (alot of chemistry and some math for biology). but i wanted to know in terms of admissions and career flexibility, which is better? Because i like both subjects im going to choose whichever is easiest to complete with a high GPA (for PHD and professional schools) because i really want the pride (and money) of having those 2 letters at the beginning of my name.

Both chemistry and biology have poor employment prospects with a BS/BA. Bio and most chem subfields have poor employment prospect even at the PhD level. (This is an open secret in academia. Fewer than 1/3 of bio or chem PhDs end up in academia or an industrial or government research position. Most post-docs and research asst positions–typical employment for a newly minted PhD–pay terribly. Often as little as $32K/year.)

Neither major will improve your chances for admission to med or pharm school. (That depends on GPA, sGPA, MCAT/PCAT scores, LORs, relevant ECs, and research.)

Believe it or not your acceptance into grad school is more dependent on your undegrad research, publications, LORs, and grades in upper level major classes than on your GPA, though a sub 3.0 GPA will probably sink your application.
