Biochemistry/engineering/technology

Okay, I have heard about twenty different names for it(biochemistry/bio-medical enginering/biotechnology). Hopefully you know what I am talking about. It's genetic research etc...

What are the classes offered at U of M in conjunction with the subject? Does U of M offer biochem classes? And if they do, are the clases worth taking, or am I looking for the wrong college?

Bump!!!
Please Answer, Becaus I Want To Major In This!!!!!

You should look at Wisconsin

<a href="http://www.news.wisc.edu/packages/biotech/%5B/url%5D">http://www.news.wisc.edu/packages/biotech/</a></p>

I'm not sure about the biochem, I know U of M does offer several courses in it, but I am not majoring in it, so I couldn't really tell you.

However, if you are interested in biotech/genetic research, you may wanna consider biomedical engineering at U of M. This major has a biotech concentration, and classes that are offered include stuff liek micro and nanotechnology, imaging etc.

Genetic research specificially would be more of a major within the Molecular Cellular and Developmental Biology department, which would concentrate on molecular aspects.

If you would like to do research as a freshman in genetics, consider signing up for UROP, which is the undergraduate research program.
