Which schools have really good biochemistry programs?

it's interlinked with biology and chemistry departments (ok, I know that was obvious) so good schools in those disciplines tend to have good biochem programs

Not interlinked.. Good schools have a separate biochem program See Wisconsin's.

no, I mean they're a biology department, a chemistry department, and the majors are in the departments, with bio in the bio department, chem in the chem department and biochem sharing some classes with the other two, though obviously a lot of the classes are specifically for biochem majors

I guess then I should rephrase the question:

Which schools are best for biology/chemistry/biochemistry programs?

I wasn't saying that either. I was saying a good bio or chem major probably means a strong biochem one as well

Okay--- that's fine. It doesn't really matter anyway, and my question makes sense: If you're saying that a good bio major means a strong biochem or chem major as well, then it's fine to ask "Which schools are best for biology/chemistry/biochemistry programs?"
