Bioengineering

biomedical engineerin
Im a senior, aspiring to become a biomedical engineer and I was wondering if I would be able to get accepted with my qualifications

5.2857/5 Weighted GPA'S, 4.714/5 Unweighted GPA
28/622 Class Rank
ACT: 30 (super scored)
28 English, 34 math, 27 reading, 30 science

Currently enrolled in AP Bio, Ap Calc Bc, Ap Physics C, Ap Gov't, Ap macro
Have taken: Ap chemistry, Apush, Ap euro, Geometry Honors, Ica honors, precalculus honors, chemistry honors, bio honors, physics honors, Spanish 2-4 honors, and normal English all 4 years.

Exc: NHS, Spanish Honor Society, Varsity Tennis, Model Un, volunteer at hospital and with special children, Spanish club, ISA

Practically no chance due to your low ACT. People with 35s and 36s are regularly turned down due to the program’s small size.

While your ACT is somewhat low, you do not need 35/36 to be competitive at UIUC bioengineering.

I didn’t say you needed a 35-36 to be competitive, I said they’re regularly turned down due to the holistic application review process, especially for bioengineering. See Drusba’s previous post in another thread to clearly see what you need to be in the ballpark for consideration.

Also uiuc does not superscore

That’s disappointing to hear but thank! Appreciate the help!
