Biology class For pre-med

I am an Engineering student who is interested in pre-med. Right now I am having
troubles for my biology class. I tried to get enroll to Cell and Developmental Biology;
however, the class and the waitlist for class are both full. I email to the biology professor,
but she said that I have to wait for add/drop period, or I can take bio1105 with investigative lab. I don't want to take bio1105 since it's self instruction course. Also, it's plainly too many credits! Bio1105 combined with lab turned out to be 6 credits!

Therefore, my question is, is there another course that will satisfy the pre-med requirement. I was thinking maybe I can take Comparative Physiology this term and take Cell Biology next term, but the system won't let me enroll in Comparative Physiology. The message said: You are unable to enroll in this class at this time. Available seats are reserved and you do not meet the reserve capacity requirements. What doe this mean?

I would like to take a biology class this term since I would be taking physics next term, and I don't think it's possible for me to take three science classes at once. So, I am in both Foundation Biology and bio1105, do you know if Foundation Biology can be used for pre-med requirement? If not, I will stick to bio1105; I think I am self-disiplined, though my parents don't want me to take that class.

Any help will be appreciated!

Hmm thats weird. I got into BIO 1440 with no problem (Physiology). I don’t know if there is a waiting list like there is for chem, but you should see about that.

i enrolled in cell and developmental bio because the description was clearer in my opinion. i’ll take physiology in the spring after i get some feedback from students who took it. there’s really no rush, so try signing up for BIO 1440. i’m taking the lab too. it can be taken either semester

^
Unfortunately, I can’t fit the discussion section on my schedule. The only time left
is Friday afternoon, which is the time for my chem lab. Do you know what is Foundation
Biology about?

1105 INCLUDES lab in the 4 credits/semester.
