I wanted to know if I should buy an additional book to prepare myself for these exams. I was thinking of getting the PR for bio and the Kaplan for USH, but should I even bother if I have the cliff notes and the essential content? I'll be studying the latter for the ap exam regardless, and I'll be doing the may testing right before ap exams for subject tests.

Also, how do I know whether to do Biology E or M? I like Bio E more but it seems to have a much harsher curve and a lower average as well.

Don’t get Kaplan and PR. I had both and they were both not in depth and didn’t cover the material that was needed to cover. Get Crash Course APUSH. That book is thin and covers the tiniest stuff that is on the SAT US. Also get REA US History Flash Card. Those two pretty much cover everything in addition to the stuff from APUSH. I got an 800 and a 5 on the AP. For Bio, idk. I took the test in freshman year and I didn’t do so well in it and I hate Bio. XD

For Bio, I got Barron’s. It was really useful, and I got an 800 taking Biology E. Although, for the plants chapter, it would be useful to look at Bozeman’s videos on Youtube. I had a question from one of the videos that was not mentioned in my book. I’ve usually heard people recommend Biology E over M, and I did fine even though my class did not go in depth in ecology.

I agree with @AC20212 . Barron’s is the way to go when it comes to Bio. i got 800 on Bio M . I found Crash Course Ecology(youtube) very useful when it came to studying the ecology as I hadn’t done it at all at school. Don’t just choose E or M cz people say one is easier or maybe E has a better curve or something. I was going to choose E on test day as some people suggested it had a better curve, but I am glad I didn’t.
