I am just wondering, is it possible to double major chemical engineering and biology, or computer science and biology, or basically an engineering discipline with biology?

Current JHU student; while I’m not a major in any of these areas, I would highly suggest for you to visit the Hopkins forums - current students will answer your questions (try major specific questions [Major-Specific Questions](http://www.hopkins-interactive.com/forums/major-specific-questions/) or a double major thread [Double Major](http://www.hopkins-interactive.com/forums/academics-the-insider-perspective/double-major/)). I’ve used it before several times and they’re really helpful!

That’s probably a really heavy double major to swing.

At JHU there is no single major for Chemical Engineering. Instead they have what’s called Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. I don’t think double majoring with ChemBE is a good idea though because the courseload is just too intense. And besides, it’ll cover a lot of what you’ll learn in Bio anyways.

Current student: that’s exactly what my roommate is doing. He is a ChemBE with an intended Bio double major. It is feasible, you just have to plan. I am a Bio and Neuro double major, same thing with any double majors: some planning required.

would a major in engineering and a minor in digital arts be possible?

Hah. I remember when I was that ambitious. Nothing is impossible, but that’s way too much for even a smart person to handle…TRUST ME, you don’t want to study for an organic chem midterm, a molecular biology midterm, and ChemE Analysis midterm at the same time.
