I'm using the Barron's review book, and I'm just wondering -- in Chapter 8, section 2, there is a whole slew of diseases (like 30-40 separate ones) -- is it necessary to memorize the causes of all of these, their symptoms, treatments, etc. for the biology M test? I mean, if I have time, I'll go back and memorize them anyway (just because I'm interested in that), but I want to make sure that I have the most important information memorized first! Okay thanks!

No.........

Not at all.

Barrons has a ton of superfluous material. I have it, and honestly I am not even studying out of it

you should at least be familiar with them, because when i took the sat II bio, there were many questions in the beginning of the test dealing with diseases.
