Biology Transfer Requirements

Hey guys,
I'm planning to apply to UCSD for next fall as a junior interUC transfer student. I want to go into General Biology but it seems their website doesn't give so much info. What specific courses do I have to complete in order to be admitted into the major? I understand that you have to complete as much of the major as possible but do you have to complete all of the lower-division requirements? When I spoke with an admissions adviser at UCSD, she said that there weren't any specific courses but I should complete as much of the major as I can. Can anyone, whose had any experience or otherwise, clarify that for me?

If you guys need my stats or anything like that, let me know.

Thanks.

Biology Major undergrad work is less important than igetc certification and TAG. I still have to take the entire undergrad bio series at SD and I got in as a Human Bio major. Also, make sure you consider GE reqs for each of the 6 schools before you rank them.

TAG is crucial, make sure you check that little box for TAG when you apply for the UCSD. Make sure the classes you’re taking articulate to UCSD => [Welcome to ASSIST](http://www.assist.org) .
