I am a first semester sophomore, majoring in cell & molecular biology. My GPA was a result of four to five years ago of under performing at tech school which transfer a 0.5 GPA to my university. I have come a far ways and raise my GPA to 2.24. My future prospects are optometry school. My question is "Should I do a math minor, chemistry minor, or both?" The reason I chose these as my minors is because for each minor I only need to complete two classes. If I do both as my minors, then i will be finished with all classes in one semester. If I do take on one or both minors, will this raise my GPA? Or should I look into a post bacc certificate to raise my GPA ( they do have post bacc programs for optometry)? Thanks!
