Biomechatronics for undergraduates

I’m interested in biomechatronics as an undergraduate. I’m having problems finding information about programs. I keep seeing MIT come up in my search, but is there anywhere else that offers a degree?

Look for a college with a solid ME department where it’s easy to collaborate with students in the Bio and CS departments. You do not need a biomech degree to work in the field- and because the field itself is relatively new, most people who work in it did not major in it. They are plain vanilla engineers who have taken lots of bio and CS, or worked in a lab during college collaborating with others from those disciplines.

Perhaps more important to look for schools with substantial R&D opportunities in your areas of interest, as opposed to a specialized degree. Pitt would be a good option to check out, as they have lots of crossover research going on, between their engineering programs, med school, and prosthetics/orthotics grad programs.

WPI has a mechatronics program that you could probably take in the direction you want.
