<p>i really want to go to uci but dont have such flattering scores. i have 24 act, 1610 sat, and around a 3.5 gpa. i have lots of leadership -- pres of orchestra, play 2 instruments, and am part of many clubs - key club (publicity officer for 2 yrs) , student alliance, badminton, basketball (1 year) french club (2 yrs - secretary), leo club. i have LOTS of community service - hospital and clubs
im also in national honors society and cali. scholarship federation.
my personal statements were really REALLY good :) i had my teachers read them and they were very impressed.
i know that my scores aren't the best for uci but i wanted to know how competitive it was to get into the biomedical engineering pre-med major at uci because it's fairly new and i wanted to know if i had a shot??</p>
