Biomedical Engineering

I am incredibly interested in Biomedical Engineering. I am interested in prosthetics but not nearly as much as I am interested in other aspects such as artificial organs/tissue engineering. I have heard that biomedical engineering doesn't have the best career prospects, but I really don't want to major in Mechanical Engineering because I am mainly interested in the medical aspect. What should I do?

Biomedical Engineers typically need a Master’s in biomedical engineering to actually get jobs in the medical work.

You can potentially major in a different type of engineering and then decide to pursue that as a Masters, as well.
