Biomedical engineering

due the majority of BME undergrads go to med school? And if a BME does to med school can he/she choose just to change over to a physician rather than contiue on the BME path?

Just trying to figure my major out. Thanks in advance for any help

When you go to medical school you study medicine, not engineering.

Yea, I don't understand what you're exactly asking. If you are going to medical school, you will be studying to become a physician.

Maybe you are asking in terms of medical research related to BME? In this case, it would probably be wise to stay with a BME Phd. But if you still want to have a MD, then you can apply to a MD/PHd program where you can do that type of research.

If a guy/gal w/ a B.S. in BME goes to med school, he/she will be studying medicine to be a Doctor.
