<p>So I'm pretty interested in the biotech field but was wondering about what i should do as an undergrad. Alot of people say to take biology or chemistry as an undergrad and then get an advanced degree in biotechnology. Is this true? Any advice would be appreciated especially if your in the same boat. <p>Biotechs are notoriously unstable. Usually they get bought by a pharma company or go bankrupt and everyone gets fired. That is Pfizer’s business model. Buy and Pfire everyone.</p>
<p>Most biotechs are in MA, NJ, or CA. The best jobs go to chemical engineers.</p>
