I think the only thing hurting you is your scores. :(

Good luck though!

I just went to bed, and remembered I left out some other stuff lol

GPA: 3.3 (school average is 2.0), my school isn't bad, but a C is actually the average grade

I have a photography website that nets 150,000 views

Scores are much too low.

I'd say it's a reach. Your SAT's pretty low and your GPA's not stellar.

its probably not a good idea to not list your score on that sat II...only because they're going to get the score report and see it anyway. you should put ur other scores higher above that one, like put the lower one last, but don't not list it. it might make you seem dishonest, and they only count your top 3 scores anyway. admissions officers don't jump to conclusions, they understand that students are sometimes tired when taking exams or are just having a bad day. that said, just apply and see what happens. it never hurts to try. the mentoring EC will help you out.

If you want more information about the AA students you may contact some of the folks at this web site:

Black Men's Forum

hm... this is a little trickier than the average chance thread. i'd say raise your scores and you'll have a better chance.

out of curiousity, which CTY sites/sessions?

Wow,

In this order:
- UC Santa Cruz
- Lafayette College
- Nanjing University, China
- Princeton University (the only year i had fun)

Why? Did you go to any?

do u go to friends? lol pmee

Well, other than scores and GPA, I'd say it would be a reach. However, I think your GPA brings you down a ton. You will never know though until you apply. The best of luck to you!

yeah, i did JHU and LAN.

Your test scores need to be higher. You should still apply.

Try the ACT, I got a 2070 on the SAT, which is not too far away from your score, but i got a 34 on the ACT. So definitely go that route.

I lol'd.

Take the ACT and re-take Math I...get another score in the 700's. A 3.3 GPA is hard to explain even if your school does grade like MIT.

Do you have any idea what your rank is? Does your school supply an explanation of the grading system? I think the GPA is going to be the hardest thing to get over.
