sending slides of artwork which i think is pretty good.

good recs, good essays

oh yeah, national merit semi-finalist, should be finalist, probably star student, Xerox award in social studies and humanities, scholar athlete award

I almost sent in slides of my artwork but then my teacher said brown doesn't like anything extra on the application. but to me you look like you some pretty awesome stats. I think you have a good shot.

this is ridiculous. of course you have a CHANCE. and YOU know you have a chance. its obvious you just looking for praise. brown is very competitive but with those stats you'd have to be an imbecile to think you dont have a "chance".

people like you make me depressed about college admissions :( you are amazing

What SmartGuy said but with a less acerbic tone.

Please realize that you can only fit into 1 of 4 categories: No shot at all (which you clearly are not), a very distant chance (2340? 1/135? Hardest courseload and a gajillion awards? Don't think so....), A decent chance (Bingo), and an absolutely for sure 10, 000% admit (which no one should ever tell you, because you can't even be a 100% chance!).

Clearly, someone with your stats should be smart enough to know that you have a good shot, but nothing is guaranteed.

um, you're definitely in at Brown. Surprised you're asking at all :)

Anyway, what debate event do you do? I knew you were semi-serious cuz you went to camp. As long as it wasn't VBI for LD. Haha.

yeah even if ur semi-serious about LD you have to go to camp... which is why I dropped that like it was hot and picked up extemp. that worked out better for me lol.

oh... and for the stats eval... well you have some good stats... but my SAT2 lit score is 10 pts higher than yours, so I'll prolly steal your spot. tough luck sister. =P

Last year Brown rejected 67% of valedictorians, 75% of those with more than 749 on their math and likewise on the verbal SAT.

Since you are all 3, you will get rejected roughly 217% of the time.

Seriously, in this crazy system, even the best applicants (of which you are one) need safeties.
