I'm filling out my IUB counselor form, and it asks you to list your senior year courses. Then it asks to check off whether it's "block schedule". What exactly does this mean?

In our district, which is on a block schedule, each semester the school day is divided into 4 ninety minute class sessions. A class that would traditionally span 2 semesters is conducted in one semester instead.

For example, a student could take Spanish I the first semester of freshman year and then Spanish II the second semester of freshman year.

If you don't know what a block schedule is, you probably aren't on one. But you can always ask your counselor : )
