i do but next year we have 8 classes (including lunch) I dont want 7 classes a day, whole year :( same people, same thing every SINGLE DAY!!!

Block works best for IB, so when they switched to a 7-period day this year, the IB kids & teachers have been going through hell. the rest of our school is "underachieving" so the reason we switched was because most students cant concentrate of math for such long periods of time. =|

and having every class everyday gets sooo boring.

I hate block scheds because it sucks for boring classes cus theres that much more time to sit through...though I have to admit I like only preparing for 3 or 4 classes a day, and I have to get used to longer class times for college

I would hate block scheduling. I wouldn't be able to stand more than 45 minutes of a class that I really hate, nor do I have a long-enough attention span.

I wouldn't be able to stand a 45 minute class. We would never get any thing done and the day would seem so rushed.

My school is on block scheduling.
I have 4 classes, each are about AN HOUR AND 55 MINUTES!!!
I have school from 7:05 to 3:05...
But then again, since we're one of the best schools in the county, we're the only ones that dont have school on fridays (yes, every friday)
But my school gives rediculous amounts of works, so I usually have like 3 - 4 hours of hw each day, never less, usually more.
Anyways, I like block scheduling...and I dont seem to have a problem with the whole "foreign language" thing. I had French 1 first semester freshmen year, now im in french 2 second semester sophomore year...doing super well.
Thank you for reading my long post/rant. Lol.
Good day :P

my school has a really weird form of block scheduling... classes are about 90 minutes. a, b, and c are semester-long classes. d & e blocks are year-long. a, b, and c are every day; d & e are every other day. on friday we have every class, but we have half days (get out at noon every friday! score!), so the classes are only 45 minutes....
whenever i try to explain this to somebody, they get really confused haha.

9 periods - 8-245

10 periods - 715-245
(if you take like, weight training, or science research, it is 0 period!)

Block scheduling is dreadful.

Especially when you've got AP's that are incorporated within it.

Shoot me now.
