Anybody else have it?

My school has A/B block scheduling...90 minutes per class, 4 classes a day, you take 8 classes total. Weeks go ABABA, BABAB, etc. I can take it or leave it, personally.

50 minute classes, 6 classes a day.
1 class is always dropped per 6 day rotation.

I like the drop day idea. :)

i have block… but on semesters.
so it’s AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA for 90 days than BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB for the rest of the year.

love it.

Our school has trimesters, 5 classes a day (4th period is lunch) each class is ~72 minutes.

Most core classes are only 2 trimesters long. So if you were to take Algebra 2, you would take it for 2 trimesters (you can have it 1st and 2nd trimester, 2nd and 3rd tri, or 1st and 3rd) and the best part is: ONE TRIMESTER WITHOUT MATH!! Isn’t that awesome?

1st bell = 7:15-8:28
2nd bell = 8:34-9:45
3rd bell = 9:51-11:07
4th bell = 11:07-12:57 (A lunch starts at 11:07 but classes at 11:13) we get 30 minutes of lunch, then 6 minutes between that and class, then 72 minute class. B lunch gets the shortest class :o
5th bell = 1:03-2:15

I have odd and even days

4 on even days
4 on odd days

1st period is everyday. Therefore, we have 7 periods.

I have block scheduling also.

90 minutes/day
Four classes/day, Eight total
Black days, Gold days

I have the same block scheduling as the OP…it can be annoying, especially when you have those super boring classes that just drag ooooon and ooooon…

I have 4 classes each semester rangig from 0 o 4 classes a day for up to 5 hours of class (without lab)

watchmesoar, I want you to know that I briefly stalked your profile to make sure we don’t go to the same school.
We don’t. XD

Odd, Even, Odd+Focus (we get off early, and people can be requested by teachers to stay, like if they’re doing badly in class), Even+Late Arrival, All block

(MT***)

We have this exactly

I love it, classes less than an hour long seem rushed to me, and you get 2 days to do homework!

Odd/Even Day ; 7:30 - 2:30

Odd (4 classes)
Even (4 different classes)
Odd
Even
Odd …

Even…etc

We also have odd and even days; 4 classes per day.

I like it because you have two days to do the homework.

I used to have AB block scheduling and now I have a really weird schedule where I’m taking five classes plus health which is on tuesdays and thursdays. I have class six days a week but on wednesday which is a half day I only have one 50 minute class. Saturday is a half day too but I have three classes. Math, Physics and spanish are five day a week classes and acting and english are four day classes. I have each class for fifty minutes except for once a week for each class I have it for an hour and fifteen minutes but a lot of my teachers just let us go after the fifty minutes. I have a lot of frees though. Here’s what my schedule looks like: http://www.exeter.edu/documents/DS_Schedule.pdf

Block is much the same here, too. I like it better because it allows us to take 8 classes rather than 7 classes per year.

True, the longer class periods can be eternal especially if you have the same teacher in two consecutive classes.

14 classes per year
each class lasts 45 minutes
3X7 and 2X6 clases per day
