Damn, one more reason to go to Princeton. I most likely will not get to use this.

Yea, for the most part people don't end up using their Bloustein award, I think 2 of our 13 actually stayed in NJ, but oh well. Though I didn't know they told this early, or perhaps my memory's not as good as I remember.

I got one as well. I was more excited before I found out all you need is a 1260 and top 10%.

Tell "all you need" to the 90% of your high school that can't even qualify for the award.

Sorry, didn't mean for it to come out that way. I just mean that it was a bit disappointing to find out that it was nothing new, since that's already information I know. It just puts a title on certain stats, like the AP Scholar awards, so it has little significance if you aren't using the money.

when did you find out? i meet the requirements but i haven't heard anything yet...

I found out today

o ok, maybe i should have gone to school today haha

anyways, congrats!

I got the letter in the mail ... my school did not tell me

aw man....now i feel left out. lol

i got mine too =D

Wait is this the acceptance letter, or the one that says you're qualified to receive it?

finally got my letter today

was ist es... kannst du es für mich erklären? muss man in New Jersey leben?

Sorry bout my German:

Ja muss Ein in New Jersey leben, zu qualifizieren.

got the same thing, my family was excited
i wasn't sure what percentage of my class i was in (the school is unranked) so i'm happy about that
so, does anyone know anything about rutgers honors college,or poli sci at rutgers and tcnj?

i think everyone gets one.

omg! I got the letter for this award! i know lots of people get it, and i'm not going to use it unless i get into princeton (fat chance)...but for my school, top 10% of the class is a big deal. we are a small, extremely competetive private school with only 53 kids in the senior class, and we don't rank officially. now i'm certain i'm at least in the top 5, maybe even better! does anyone think i should let my ED school (Brown) know about this? will it help my chances?
